From the outset you stood head and shoulders above your competitors with the professionalism of your quote. It was incredibly helpful to have the costs for each stage of the build broken down. Your attention to detail, communication and high standards were apparent throughout the project. At times when the project threw up the unexpected, like the road that ran under the garden, you worked quickly to resolve this and ensured minimum impact on the schedule, protecting us from unecessary stress. The overall project management and coordination of other trades, at a time when all trades were in high demand, ensured that our project was prioritised. The high level of integrity with which you and your team conduct yourselves was a pleasure to work with. When the internal walls came down I left work early fully expecting hours of cleaning to be greeted with the house having been swept, hoovered and even the kitchen sides having been wiped down! To say we were pleased is an understatement! You worked closely with us to listen and incorporate our ideas and communicated these to other trades. We would recommend Park Gate Builders without any hesitation for any building work/project management requirements. We extended and modernised a 1960's house extensively in 2013 on a restricted budget and it was an absolute pleasure to have Simon involved with the job. With his expertise and knowledge the project went extremely well, minor alterations to the original plan came up and Simon guided us and overcame any difficulty without issue, giving us options and his professional opinion yet listening to our preferences. When we considered builders originally it was clear some priced jobs based on what you wanted to hear with the extra costs possibility mounting up during the project. Simon was realistic and honest about what was involved so there were no hidden surprises, working within our budget constraints and providing the highest level of workmanship at the same time. Always punctual, working to set times and breaks and unbelievably tidy! Really couldn't recommend Park Gate Builders highly enough.
